Live At Home Scheme
About Us
Winchester Live at Home Scheme provides Volunteer based support and friendship to older people in Winchester who still live in their own home and may have become isolated and lonely for whatever reason.
All of our Members benefit from a regular newsletter, and the opportunity to join in with a varied programme of Scheme outings and events. We run a range of clubs for which door to door transport is provided where required.
Less able Members can receive regular visits at home from one of our Volunteers who can also provide support with shopping and transport where necessary.
The Scheme currently employs five Members of staff who are based at the United Church, Jewry Street, Winchester. The Live at Home Scheme is part of MHA registered charity number: 1083995.
